Tinder’s Amalfi Yacht Week

The world’s leading dating app, Tinder, continuously seeks ways to engage their audience in India. A customized version of iMAR’s European Yacht Tour was the perfect package to incentivize Tinder users to update their profiles. Up for grabs was a spot on the week-long sailing along Italy’s Mediterranean coast.

One of our favorite collaborations in 2019 was with Tinder India, a new addition to the iMAR client roster. From the first conversation we had with their team, we knew that we were well poised to help them create a hugely successful promotion that would meet (and exceed!) expectations.

After learning about Tinder’s audience and objectives, we set out to develop a campaign that would live up to the adventurous lifestyle of their users. The result was a customized package that put a fresh spin on our European Yacht Tour experience. Tinder users were given the chance to win a private yacht tour along the Amalfi Coast by optimizing their profiles, reinforcing Tinder’s message that the better your profile, the better your matches.

Tinder garnered a ton of excitement, engagement and social media chatter throughout the entry period and beyond. In the end, over 19,000 users entered, and eight lucky winners were sent on the trip of a lifetime.
